
Leading the eating out-of-home sector, Nova Equipotel 2008 holds this event specialized in professional food services at all levels – from fine cuisine to fast-food – considering society’s general need to eat out at some point, whether for leisure or during working hours.
Market’s projection for the sector is 6.6% in 2008, which leads to a turnover of more than R$ 60 billion. Thus, operating channels and food services will, consequently, reach a turnover of approximately R$ 130 billion.
By presenting the innovative trends demonstrated at the last Nova Equipotel event, Equip Food&Drinks has reinforced itself as a hub comprising all the productive processes related to food service, including beverage and equipment sectors.
The first event in 2007 drew upon the participation of renowned service and product providers from the food and beverage industries, including MBB Food Service, La Rioja and Strauss Carnes, among 250 exhibitors in 120 booths occupying an area of 5,000 square meters at Anhembi Exhibition Hall.
In addition the exhibition area, Equip Food&Drinks also houses a Gastronomic Arena.
